Yes it's that time of the year when your tennis club needs YOU!!
MBTC Annual Working Bee — Sun 24 Aug, please arrive 7:45am for an 8:00am start, finishing around midday.
This is an opportunity for members to get together, have a chat, and give the club a proper spring spruce so its looking best it can for the summer interclub season and Love Tennis (7 September).
Even if you can only spare an hour it will make a real difference, and if you’re booked on the day but still want to help, get in touch and we’ll arrange something you can do beforehand or at another time (some choose to put in some mahi beforehand after work or an alternate day as their way of giving back. (Big thanks to Louise for already tackling the rear car park, we’ll miss your singing on the day! 🤣)
There will be some light morning tea refreshments and for those still sweating after midday, the obligatory post-working bee hops infused sparkling water.
Please bring a broom / rake / spade / gloves etc. If you have a hedge trimmer or other power tools, please le us know what you can bring to avoid having to hire equipment.
