Whether or not you joined our first session on Aug 2, you're warmly invited to continue (or begin!) your journey into mindful, creative mending.
In this Decorative Repair workshop, we’ll dive deeper into the art of hand mending and storytelling through fabric. Bring a piece you’d love to transform
Bring gathered ideas and collected fabric scraps, threads, beads, buttons, and other small treasures. Barbara will bring along her own collection of beads and buttons to share and spark fresh ideas.
Learn how to:
Look more closely at detail and texture
Refine your ideas with thoughtful composition
Discover hidden gems in your everyday materials
Tell your own story through fabric and thread
Workshop details:
Saturday 30 August, 9.30-11.30am
Parnell Room, Parnell Community Centre, during Parnell Farmers Markets, on street parking.
$15 per person - tea and coffee included
Optional Koha if you'd like to purchase extra resources from Barbara’s stash for future projects.
