About the event

Welcome the Godwits to Shoal Bay
Each year we gather along the shores of Oneoneroa Shoal Bay to celebrate the kuaka - a champion long-distance flyer returning from their nesting grounds in Alaska.

Please join us for an evening of ceremony, learning, food and games for all ages. We have scheduled so the tide will hopefully afford a good view of the foraging birds!
