With 15 dancers executing daring physicality and nuanced storytelling, 'TBH: To Be Heard' dives deep into themes of diaspora and displacement, nostalgia and rage, queer horizons, skin and structure, indigenous cycles, political tip-toeing, surveillance and unease, disco divas, object and light, the divine digital age, and intersectional relationships.
🌟Guided by choreographic mentor Katie Burton, with expert lighting by Michael Craven, and sonic + costume worlds built by the students themselves — this is full-spectrum creativity in motion.
For those who champion the future of dance in Aotearoa,
TBH: To Be Heard is a must.
Support the voices being shaped today, and those set to shape our cultural future.
