⭐️You do not need to bring your own rope. Cotton rope and safety shears will be provided for the duration of the workshop and rope kits will be available for sale afterwards⭐️
At the Auckland Beginners Rope Workshops we try to create a fun, stress free and safe environment for new people to learn. *We try to cover the same ties each month (or variations on them) so that everyone starts with the same base skill to build from.* The ties we teach are specifically chosen as we feel they are good building blocks for most of your beginner to intermediate bondage learning. We also cover safety and consent while teaching you the ropes.
⭐️We don’t pair people up. All ties we teach in this class are able to be done as a self tie or on bamboo. If you would like to tie another human but don’t have a friend whose schedule matches yours, you can contact us a week before class to hire a model for $50.⭐️
Coming to your first event as a newbie can be very nerve wracking so we have greeters available to meet you outside and walk in with you (just send Auckland Rope an email and we'll sort something out).
We try to make sure no one is left in the corner with nothing to do and we also try to make sure that no one is pushed too far outside their comfort zone!
⭐️The dojo can be a little hard to find if you are using google maps. It is almost directly opposite the four square.⭐️
