Build a Toy: Creative Woodwork with the Re-Creators

Build, create, and play—make your own wooden toy from scratch.

In this workshop, tamariki will explore the basics of woodworking by learning how to safely use tools like a drill. They will then design and build their very own wooden toy to take home.

Tamariki can get creative, experiment with different shapes and sizes of upcycled wood, and bring their imaginative ideas to life.

Note: This workshop is suitable for tamariki aged 8+ or 5-7 with and attending adult.
