The Beatniks x IVY - NZ Tour 2025 - Auckland

‘IVY’ and ‘The Beatniks’, two of the biggest independent artists coming out of Ōtepoti, are both known for their highly-captivating live performances. Melancholic in one instance, and packed full of noisy energy the next - now geared up with new material to showcase, the art-rock and surf-punk stylings of each of these young acts are tighter than ever.

‘IVY’ are held in the highest of regards when it comes to emerging kiwi artists. Nestling within the realm of dark and brooding tones, and immense, layered chorus, IVY know how to deliver a powerful and emotionally-resonant set; their sharp growth has quickly turned heads nationwide. From appearing on festival lineups such as Snow machine and OUSA Ori, playing with the Dunedin Youth Orchestra, and earning the SRN 2024 People’s Choice Award, IVY are ready to take their breathtaking art-rock performance around Aotearoa for the first time.

‘The Beatniks’ have been playing together since 2021, and have quickly become a ‘must-see’ live act within Aotearoa. After playing large-scale festivals last year, such as Rhythm & Alps, their recent release has delivered a more mature sound. Yet still soaked in their signature surf-grunge style. Having not toured the North Island since their debut album ‘Archetype’ in 2023, they’re ready to show you a whole new layer of alt-rock spirit on the stage.
