Science is a big topic (the whole universe!) and sometimes it can be a challenge for homeschooling parents to figure out where to start and what to do. At this seminar we will be discussing effective, manageable ways in which to incorporate Science lessons and experiences into your family homeschooling studies. 
 The handout at this seminar for parents will include
- an overview of interesting Science topics for 5 – 12 year olds
- suggestions about useful books and resources 
- ideas for using beach trips as a starting point for Science studies

Date –  Monday, Nov 24, starting at 7:30pm

Location – at our home 163 Hinemoa St, Birkenhead
 (Please park on the road. Our house is the white house on the corner of the driveway.)

My background – My husband and I homeschooled our son for seven years. I am a NZ qualified primary school teacher. I currently work from home teaching remedial Reading and Maths to students of all ages on an individual basis.
