We invite policy officials and government decision-makers to attend this forum which will guide you through Shakti’s ‘A Kaleidoscopic View’, which is the new best practice guideline for responding to family violence within Asian, African and Middle Eastern communities in Aotearoa New Zealand and other Western nations. This guideline has been developed by Shakti with participating NGOs and government representatives across Aotearoa New Zealand.
This workshop will be informative, interactive and will facilitate the ability for you to walk in the shoes of survivors. They will also take into context Te Aorerekura's Actions 5, 11 & 23 and enable you to best support Aotearoa’s ethnic women at risk of family violence.
