About the event

RIZZY AND THE BANISHED

'Rizzy and the Banished' is a newly formed Auckland-based quintet united by revolutionary Ben Ridsdale.

Inspired by gospel grooves, modal harmonies and thickening rhythms, the 'Banished' aim to play a variety of pieces from the likes of Brian Blade to some of their own original arrangements.

Featuring Ben Ridsdale (Saxophone), Sam Voyle (Saxophone), Tommy David (Piano), Minjoon Kim (Bass), and Daniel Kim (Drums)
