Join us for an up-close look at items from our sports-related heritage collections. These include lantern slides from some of the earliest Auckland Tramping Club outings, invitations from the organising committee of the Empire Games and photos of the athletes' village at Ardmore Teachers College.

Look through Dave Cameron's boxing and wrestling archive of scrapbooks, photographs and magazines; the Empire Games organizing committee archive and photo albums; and the Auckland Tramping Club archive. Hear stories from historic local sports books and magazines including the first New Zealand footballer to be signed for an English professional club; the origins of the Halberg Awards & early accounts of the Auckland cricket team's tours of the country.
