Greetings all.
Join us for some fun recreational outdoor gentle exercise and magic moments as we walk around the southern side of Piha Beach, visiting The Gap, Lion Rock and hopefully the Blow Hole...Then we will explore the iconic west coast Piha Bach ..some larger than others.. Sample the Coffee and Food at South Piha...before heading inland ...to Bush Walk to Kitekite Falls...it has a board walk, some steps...and no doubt we will do a bit of huffing and puffing to reach these famous waterfalls...get fitter along the way and enjoy the splendid scenery here.
Return to cars at about 4pm.
Meeting at the Domain Carpark off Seaview Road in front of Lion Rock at 11am.
I will stand on the road to greet you .
Bring along everything you need to keep yourself warm, hydrated and fed for the Days Activities. Wear strong walking shoes.
No Dogs or Smokers or Children under 20. We will walk and talk, learn something about the things we see along the way, so expect a type of field trip rather than a fast hike..
Need a ride or have space for another person?
Meet us at New World Victoria Park on Scotland Street on Saturday at 9am . Bring $20 Cash for Carpooling.
Or see you at 11am at Piha in the Carpark in front of Lion Rock just past the Campground and Library on Seaview Rd.
