NZ Sign Language Course – Beginner 1 (Thursday at Heart of the Bays, Browns Bay)
Ready to start your NZSL journey? Join us at the Heart of the Bays Community Centre in Browns Bay for a fun and welcoming 15-week in-person NZ Sign Language (NZSL) Beginner 1 course. Classes are held on Thursday nights, 7:00pm – 9:00pm, with a 2-week break in the middle to refresh and recharge.
Taught by experienced and friendly NZSL tutor Barry Kirkland, this course is perfect for absolute beginners or those looking to build a solid foundation in NZSL from the ground up.
Each week you'll learn practical signs, everyday communication, and Deaf culture in a relaxed, supportive environment. Whether you're learning for work, family, or personal interest, this is a great place to begin.
