Lene would like to invite you to her "Nature Journaling, Freestyle" class. This process-focused class will teach you design principles and creative thinking through experimental play. She'll guide you through various mark-making and printing techniques, and show you how to find inspiration all around you. We'll work on paper and, at the end of class, connect your art pieces into a textured, colorful, and beautifully composed zine/art journal that you can keep for further inspiration.
We will discover printing techniques like monotype, collagraph, stencil and block printing and more. Creating an art journal is optional, we will create unique art work in every class. These can be framed or used as greeting cards.
We will create in a relaxed and supportive environment.
All materials will be provided.
Dates: Tuesdays Oct 7,14,21,28
Time: 12pm - 2:30pm
Cost: $35 per session
Adults: 13+
Lene was born and raised in Denmark, where she studied textile design at Design School Kolding, graduating in 2004 with a master specialised in surface design. An internship at Faro Disegni in Rome, gave me a great insight in the surface design industry. The studio was based on artistic talent and most of their work was hand drawn, which still today is an important process in my own work.
The Art Collective Project is offered and facilitated through the Shiloh Creative Life Centre Charitable Trust. We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to our sponsor Creative Communities NZ for supporting the Art Collective Project.
