Moving Out - Central Auckland

Our Moving Out workshops are designed to help disabled people and their support teams start planning for new living situations. Sessions are small, interactive and action focused. Together we will outline your big picture plan and your key next steps.

Each session uses our Moving Out resource with practical worksheets and guided conversations.

Held in the Waikowhai Room at Fickling Convention Centre at 546 Mount Albert Road, Three Kings, Auckland 1042.

These sessions are practical and interactive, designed to help disabled people and their supports to take action on their Moving Out journey. Whether you are ready to move now, or thinking towards your future, these conversations will be valuable.

We have designed these small group sessions to be for disabled people alongside one or two of their key supports, but if an alternative approach works better for you we are happy to accomodate (such as coming alone, a bigger group or the disabled person not wanting to attend). We only have one facilitator (Ainsley) for this group of 10-20 participants, so some self directed reflection and documentation is needed. Please book a ticket for each person that will be coming.

We will send you a survey after you register for this event. This will have a little more detail about the session and provide a space for you to share a bit about your circumstances and accessibility needs before we meet.
