Justice for disabled migrants & families - petition hand-over

We want Aotearoa to welcome our migrants and families into our communities, regardless of disability or health status. But the Government is keeping in place discriminatory requirements called the Acceptable standard of Health (ASH) that treat migrants with disabilities and health conditions and our families as cost burdens.

Come along to hear from disabled migrants and families about the impacts this ableist policy has on their lives. Three families will hand over petitions to Green Party MP Ricardo Menéndez March. They're calling to remove the discrimination and uncertainty stopping their kids and often their families from gaining residency and being able to settle in Aotearoa.

- Parking: Mobility parking is on Chancery St near the Fryberg Pl entrance. Otherwise the Victoria carpark is recommended, about 400m away
