FREE – Love Food Hate Waste Workshop: Citrus Edition - New Lynn

At EcoMatters Eco Hub, this hands-on Love Food Hate Waste workshop will be facilitated by Amanda and explores creative ways to make the most of the abundance of citrus available during the Winter and Spring seasons. Learn how to use every part of your citrus fruits to reduce waste and create practical household solutions, including green cleaners, baking, preserves, and a DIY Bokashi inoculant.

We’ll also look at practical ways to reduce food waste in your home, shift how you work with excess fruit, and contribute to positive change in your local community. The session will finish with an introduction to composting systems, especially Bokashi and a tasting of citrus-based foods and recipes.
