FREE EVENT | Penguins, sea lions and South Georgia tales

Join artist Charlie Thomas for a lively, whānau-friendly storytelling session inspired by his time in the icy South Georgia, as seen in our exhibition, Into Ocean & Ice. With cheeky leopard seals, inquisitive penguins, and plenty of adventure, Charlie brings his journey to life through playful stories and his own hand-drawn illustrations. This session is suitable for older primary and intermediate-aged children (and curious adults too!).

Stick around after the storytelling for a chance to meet Charlie, ask questions, and hear more about the inspiration behind his South Georgia artwork.
