EnviroCrafts Workshops 2026 are a series of fun, hands-on creative sessions that turn everyday waste into meaningful art. Using recycled and repurposed materials, participants will explore fabric, paper, plastic, and cardboard crafts while learning how small actions can reduce waste and support a healthier environment.
These workshops are proudly run by two local rangatahi who took part in the Gold Cadetship Programme in 2025. Through this programme, they developed skills in leadership, environmental action, and community engagement — and EnviroCrafts is their way of giving back. Their initiative, creativity, and commitment to making Howick a better place is something we are incredibly proud of.
Pest Free Howick Ward continues to support these rangatahi as they step into leadership roles within their community, turning learning into action and inspiring others to care for te taiao. EnviroCrafts is a celebration of youth leadership, sustainability, and creative connection — welcoming tamariki, whānau, and community members of all ages.
Come along, get creative, and be part of a positive, local movement for people and planet 🌱🎨
