Drop-in to learn practical tools to help you feel more prepared in the event of another major storm.
This is a chance to get support from Auckland Emergency Management and Neighbourhood Support to start a street resilience plan and get tips on how to keep yourself, your whānau and your community safe.
Following major storms and flooding in our area, SPiCE is working with the Tāmaki Makaurau Recovery Office to facilitate community-led recovery planning in the Sandringham and Balmoral communities, to improve connectedness, well-being and resilience.
Alongside other local groups, we are supporting our communities to connect, work together, and consider how we can all support our community to thrive.
This project is about recognising our community strengths, celebrating what makes our neighbourhoods special, and ensuring the things that matter most are protected and prioritised into the future.
Drop-in to the Sandringham Community Centre anytime between 12pm-3pm on Saturday 9th August. We'll provide kai and activities for the tamariki!
Working together towards a more connected and resilient community!
