Join The ReCreators' 5-week circular woodworking course with Green Jon!
Get hands-on with jigsaws, drills, sanders, and more tools as you craft functional and beautiful wooden pieces.
There is an opportunity to work with upcycled Rimu if desired (for the price of the timber). Sharpen your woodworking and power tool skills while having a blast in this exciting 5 week program!
We'll be working on a native chopping board, tray or jewellery stand, and a solid outdoor chair, or work on your own simple DIY project with advice around plans from Green Jon.
We recommend looking at plans from www.anawhite.com.
Notes:
1) All participants must wear covered shoes and non-flowing clothing (tight-ish!).
2) Some work may be outdoors, please wear clothes according to the weather condition.
3) Wear closed-toed shoes and old clothes appropriate for woodworking.
4)Please note that children are not able to attend with parents due to health and safety requirements.
5) You need to arrive at this workshop for the beginning of class and the health and safety briefing to be able to take part in the rest of the class.
6) Bring a water bottle, a snack, and lunch for yourself.

Important Notes Parking: please note that we have parking available just inside the gate at Chamberlain Rd. Please do not drive past the gravel and onto the concrete area.
