In a talk titled "Writing Family, Writing Resistance," Tamiko Nimura, Tacoma creative nonfiction writer and public historian, will be presenting on her family connections to her co-authored graphic novel, WE HEREBY REFUSE: JAPANESE AMERICAN RESISTANCE TO WARTIME INCARCERATION and her forthcoming memoir, A PLACE FOR WHAT WE LOSE.
