The Category Six Pesticide Training Committee has announced two, half-day training courses for right-of-way pesticide applicators:
Dates: Thursday, October 9 (afternoon) and Friday, October 10 (morning)
Location: Fingerlakes Mall, 1579 Clark Street Road, Auburn, NY 13022
Thursday’s session will include two, two-hour demonstration site field training courses. Demonstration One is limited to 100 registrants and will focus on utility, highway and pipeline field operations. Demonstration Two is limited to 50 registrants and will focus on equipment calibration. Pre-registration is mandatory and requires a $20 non-refundable deposit. Walk-ins will not receive credit.
Four credit hours of New York State Department of Environmental Conservation Pesticide Applicator Recertification Credits will be available each day. Attendees are responsible for maintaining a record of recertification credits. To receive credits, attendees must show a current Pesticide Applicator ID Card at registration and attend the entire program. The Committee has also applied for ISA CA/Utility Specialist credits as well as the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture Pesticide Applicator Recertification Credits.
Participants who register on or before October 1 are eligible for reduced training pricing of $85 for both classroom courses or $65 for one classroom course. Discounted pricing payments will be honored at the door if the pre-registration process has been completed. Registrations accepted after October 1, or walk-in registrants will be charged $95 for both classroom courses or $75 for one classroom course. Checks should be made payable to: Category Six Pesticide Training Committee.

https://row.psep.cce.cornell.edu/. Registrants may withdraw from the course with a full refund, minus a $20 processing fee, provided written notification is received by October 6. No refunds will be honored after that date. Substitutions are allowed at any time.
