The Strauss Mansion was constructed in 1893 by a wealthy NYC merchant as his summer home, on top of the Highlands, overlooking NY harbor. This grand 21 room Victorian home features 3 floors to investigate, including a very cool and active Tower Room overlooking the bay, a very active library, as well as a basement to explore. This mansion is on the New Jersey and National Registers of Historic Places. Haunted history includes confirmed deaths in the house, shadow figures, multiple EVP's caught on security cameras and recorders, disembodied voices, a book falling on its own in the library, footsteps, ITC equipment going off on command.
The Event:
We will start the event at 7pm, and we go until 1am. We welcome everyone, from newcomers to experienced investigators. Our events are free roaming so you can investigate on your own, or you may join us throughout the evening. We encourage you to bring your own equipment, but we will have some select devices for you to use for the night if you do not have anything to use.
We limited all events to 10 people only, so you get a much better experience with less contamination from other investigators.
Our events are also for those 18 years and older only.
