Sew Ready for School: Beginner's Sewing Workshop

Get your child excited for the school year with a fun, hands-on sewing series at ABAM!

In this workshop, students (ages 6-14) will create three custom back-to-school projects: a bookmark buddy, a reusable lunch sack, and a pencil pouch - perfect for daily use and showing off their creativity!

This beginning-friendly series will teach essential sewing skills like fabric cutting, ironing, trimming, and using a sewing machine. All supplies and sewing machines are provided!

Ideal for homeschool students and any local students who are looking to prep for the upcoming school year with some custom projects. This workshop builds confidence, creativity and practical skills - just in time for the new school year.

Space is limited - reserve your spot early!

Who: 6-14 year olds

Prerequisite: must have sewing fundamentals OR have taken a Sewing Class/Camp with The Lost Art of Sewing OR have taken the Intro-to-Sewing with ABAM.

Ticket Cost: $150 per student, sewing machine use & supplies included.

Class tickets are only refundable if the refund is requested before the date of the purchased class. Tickets purchased through Eventbrite will only be refunded for the class ticket cost, minus the online processing fees due to changes in Eventbrite policies. After the class date, a credit will be issued, redeemable in store for another class.
