Join us for our THIRD annual Fear at the Fort!
This event is a walk through of Fort Macon casemates consisting of scare actors and various themed props.
PARKING: Please Park in the Fort Macon/Visitor Center parking lot
GUIDELINES: ALL park rules apply (NO alcohol, NO pets in fort). Scare actors will NOT touch you, do NOT touch them.
Tickets can be purchased IN PERSON ONLY at the Visitor Center, located at Fort Macon State Park. Starting 10/01/2025. Cash or card is accepted.
Visitor Center Hours: 9am-5pm
Ticket Price: $10 – Keep in mind the proceeds from this event help the Friends of Fort Macon continue our mission to support Fort Macon State Park’s restoration and preservation, as well as maintain and develop educational exhibits and events for visitors like YOU.
***This event will take visitors through the dark casemates and passageways of Fort Macon as the sun goes down. Creatures and ghouls alike will be awaiting your arrival.
***This event is rated PG13 - you know your kids better than we do! We want everyone to have fun, but safety is our #1 priority.
*Attraction Warnings: Fog Machines – Strobe Lights – Intense sounds – Sudden Movements will all be a part of this event.
