A Call to Action for a Safer Atlanta
Join us for a groundbreaking event that bridges community voices, city leaders, and public safety experts to co-create a new vision for Atlanta's parks.

To turn conversations into policy and community input into impact. This summit is a vital platform to open a direct dialogue between city officials, community members, and public safety organizations to address safety challenges and forge new partnerships that will make our parks safer, more inclusive, and truly designed for the people they serve.
5:00 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. | Mix, Mingle & Discover Connect with community organizations and other groups tabling at the event. Learn about their work and explore opportunities for collaboration.
5:30 p.m. - 5:45 p.m. | Welcome & Opening Remarks An opening speaker will set the stage, emphasizing the importance of community-led solutions for park safety.
5:45 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. | Icebreaker & Grouping Join in a collaborative icebreaker exercise. We will split into three groups that will stay together for the following workshops, providing a chance to mingle and build rapport with other attendees.
6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. | Collaborative Workshops The three newly-formed groups will rotate through three different 20-minute workshops, each led by a different organization. This ensures a dynamic experience and fosters deeper discussion among your group.
7:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. | Panel Discussion: Community in Action A panel of community members will share their experiences and perspectives, kicking off an interactive discussion and inspiring new partnerships and collaborative efforts.
7:30 p.m. - 7:45 p.m. | Keynote Speaker A featured speaker will inspire and galvanize attendees around the shared goal of creating a safer Atlanta.
7:45 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. | Your Voice, Your Policy Attendees will have a final opportunity to contribute to our mission by completing the Policy at Play survey. This is your chance to ensure your voice is heard and your feedback is captured for consideration in future policy changes.
