Hey Everyone!
The Mahar Theater Department is so proud to announce, that they will be holding their 1st annual “The Floodlight Classic Softball Tournament” in honor of Kyle Flood.
Kyle was a student at Mahar that passed away his senior year of high school in 2007. He was very involved with sports, theater, friendships, and his community!
Every year, the MTD gives away thousands of dollars, through the Kyle Flood Theater scholarship, to a graduating senior!
All proceeds that are made, will go to the scholarship fund!
•Please join us in a fun filled day of slow pitch, co-ed softball!
~RULES~
•Entry Fee is $150 Per team- this includes 5 free home runs for the for the day. After these are used, it will be $5 per HR (on fenced field)! MUST BE PAID BEFORE NEXT BATTER‼️
•Double Elimination
•Start with a 1:1 count
•Each team supplies 1 Umpire for following game
•Men- Wooden bats (corndog bats approved)
•Woman- Open bats
•No metal cleats
•If someone needs a runner, it has to be last out (same sex runners)
•If a guy gets walked with a girl behind, the guy will take 2nd base and the girl will get the option to walk or hit!
•1 foul to waste, having 2 strikes on
•5 Runs per inning, unlimited runs in last inning.
•Must be 2 girls on the field at all times
•Coin flip to determine home team
•45 minute timed games
•There will be a HR derby, time TBD!
$10 entry fee! The winner of the derby will get half of the money that is contributed!•
Food, drinks, and raffles tickets will be available for purchase!!
