Pints with a Purpose: Stuart's Giving Tuesday Fundraiser

Sip & Support Stuart’s Opera House Students this Giving Tuesday!

On Tuesday, December 2 from 5–7 PM, Stuart’s Opera House is partnering with Jackie O’s Taproom on a special Pints with a Purpose event for Giving Tuesday.

This year, we’re raising funds for acoustic treatment to improve the listening environment for our recording and rehearsal spaces in our 3rd Floor Education Suite—home to our Afterschool Music & Audio Program. With student bands rehearsing and recording four afternoons a week, this investment will help control reflections, reduce ear fatigue, improve clarity, and ultimately help our young musicians hear themselves better as they learn and create music together.

All day long, $1 from every pint of a featured beer (TBA) will support our effort to secure acoustic panels for our Education Suite. There will also be opportunities to make direct donations to Stuart’s Opera House for this cause throughout the day.

Come say hello to Stuart’s Opera House staff, grab a drink, and enjoy a performances from current AMP student Carter Tinkham; AMP alumnus and instructor Evan Seurkamp of The Laughing Chimes; and Adam Remnant and Juno Beard (Stuart’s Director and Assistant Director of Arts Education) of Shirt Brothers.
