Join a creative team, led by Dairy Barn teaching artist Kasey Jones, to design and collaboratively build an interactive installation for the WITCH WALK, a family-friendly haunted outdoor art experience through the Ora Anderson Trail, located behind the Dairy Barn Arts Center.
Students will create a magical and community-centered sculpture walk that will celebrate Halloween and Day of the Dead, featuring lanterns, altars, and collaborative art pieces.
-Explore sculpture-making using recycled and sustainable materials
-Learn the fundamentals of large-scale installation art and teamwork
-Engage in creative community planning for a real public event
-Integrate cultural elements, particularly related to the Day of the Dead, and the celebration of the Dairy Barn's Ora Anderson Trail.
