4th Annual Beacon of Hope Gala

The Beacon of Hope Gala is Athens-Oconee CASA’s signature fundraising event, taking place on October 17th at Athens Country Club. This inspiring evening brings together members of the Athens-Clarke and Oconee County communities to raise critical funds and awareness in support of our mission. At the heart of our work are CASA volunteers — dedicated individuals whom we recruit, train, and support to advocate for the best interests of children in foster care. These volunteers serve as a consistent, caring presence in a child’s life and work to ensure their voices are heard by the court and throughout their journey in the foster care system.

Guests at the Gala will enjoy a Silent Auction, a lively Dessert Dash, and the opportunity to make a lasting impact in the lives of vulnerable children. The evening serves as a powerful celebration of community commitment — a gathering of local champions united in the mission to be a voice of hope for every child who needs one.
