Small barn.
A session is approximately an hour.
What is Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy (BCST) and how can it help my horse?
It’s a gentle hands on therapy that treats the whole body helping to relieve tension within the structures and tissues surrounding the central nervous system promoting health and proper function. Their bodies inner wisdom guides the therapeutic process. The body’s innate knowing sets the sequencing in order for healing to happen. This is called the inherent treatment plan.
Many conditions/symptoms have a relationship to difficulties in the nervous system. When it comes to horses this modality has far reaching effects.
It may help with:
-A connection to health to bolster their health and function
-their felt sense of being deeply heard and acknowledged
-fascial and musculoskeletal release
-spinal decompression
-better gut function
-better movement
-calmness, rest & relaxation
-trauma resolution
-reduce stress or better coping at performance events
-increased confidence
During the session, Erin will place gentle hands and hold while the therapeutic process happens. When that process is complete, the horse will usually drop their head and begin licking and chewing and yawning the release.
