Witches Weekend at McInteer Villa, Atchison, KS! October 17th - 19th

If you're into dressing up and wearing black, channeling your inner witch, participating in group circles, connecting with your higher power, meditating, making a little candle magick, and whatever else we can conjure up, this event is for you! Come dressed in your wickedest witch attire and get ready to immerse yourself in an unforgettable and exhilarating Witches Weekend Retreat filled with growth, adventure, and connection at The Haunted 1889 McInteer Villa!! Recently named the 2nd Most Haunted location in the country as reported by USA Today! And what an EPIC backdrop for Witches Weekend!

At Witches Weekend, you'll have a unique opportunity to explore the enchanting Villa with some extraordinary guests! We are thrilled to introduce three AMAZING Psychic Mediums: Cathy Cusack, Samantha Robinson, and Irene Achelois!! Sam will co-host a series of inspiring and engaging gallery readings. We feel confident that the presence of our gifted friends will lead to a genuinely transformative experience during your time at the Villa.

We will have break-out sessions on Saturday for photo ops and make time to gather at the table to create some magickal items.

What’s so special and haunting about the Villa? We’d love for you to come see it for yourself! You might have caught it on "Death Walker" with Nick Groff in 2021 or on some amazing YouTube channels and local author podcasts. The Villa and Stephanie O'Reilly were recently featured on Amy Bruni's "Grim & Mild Podcast!" Come check it out—we can’t wait to share the experience with you!

Who haunts the 1800s mansion? Some say it's John McInteer, its first owner, who had it built at the cost of $14,000.00. Or maybe it's one of his wives, Alice, the first wife who passed in 1892, or Anna, the second wife who passed in 1916. It could be one of Anna's family members who used to reside in the Villa, like her brother Judge Charles Conlon, a prominent lawyer in Atchison who lived in the mansion from 1916 - 1925.

In 1952, Ms. Isobel Altus, aka "Goldie," a retired violinist and local piano teacher, purchased the Villa to restore its natural beauty. Unfortunately, she could not fund the restoration and sold it to George Gerardy. Goldie did pass in the Villa, and you may find her still sitting in her chair, rocking, and often, you can hear the piano playing.

There have been nine documented deaths on the property, all of natural causes, and one suicide, which was that of Charles Donovan. And while there's no documentation, many people have encountered a spirit named David. David presents himself as a young man aged 18-21 who was in the military and may have occupied one of the rooms at the Villa. His information is undocumented, but he's been there for the past 6 years and doesn't seem to be going away anytime soon.

During this paranormal investigation, you will have the opportunity to witness firsthand the mysterious occurrences and unexplained phenomena that have plagued McInteer Villa for centuries. You could capture someone in the mirror with you or have the door open on you during the night. You may see a large mass on the back staircase or hear stomping and dragging upstairs. Come experience the McInteer Villa with paranormal investigators Mike, Sam, and their lead investigator Erica, who will guide you through the dark corners, share eerie tales, and use state-of-the-art and metaphysical devices to help detect any supernatural presence.

2 Night Stay from Friday 7 pm thru Sunday 9 am

Only (8) tickets will be available for All Access. Those guests will experience the following:

Friday night: Meet and greet, Guided Meditation w/Sam while experiencing a Sound Bath by Erica and her singing bowls, Gallery reading, and a mini investigation!!

You'll also spend the night at the Villa with our special guests, plus Sam and Erica, from Friday at 7 pm until Sunday at 9 am.

Saturday: 8:30 am - We will have a continental breakfast with our special guests at 8:30 am. There will be a little time to freshen up and dress in our witch's attire before we reconvene as a group at 10:30 am.

Saturday events will begin promptly at 10:30 am. We'll have a group meditation, fun photo ops, break up into small groups, create your own candle magick and spell jar, and whatever else Samantha the Good Witch conjures up!

In the afternoon, we will take a break to explore the vibrant streets of downtown Atchison and discover local treasures, embracing the spirit of witches' weekend (carpooling is encouraged). We'll reconvene around 4 pm to engage in activities that spark our creativity. Then, we'll change into our comfy clothes and embark on an unforgettable journey as we investigate the Villa like never before!

Please note: you must bring your own bedding to this event; you cannot sleep on the furniture. Please bring a cot, an air mattress, a sleeping bag, pillows, etc. The Villa is neither an Airbnb nor a hotel.

Witches Weekend Retreat $255 includes the following:

Friday 7 pm - Saturday 1 am and back on Saturday at 10:30 am - 2 am

Only (14) tickets will be available. Guests will experience the following:

A driver's license or state-issued ID must show proof of purchase from the ticket holder.

We are not responsible for your valuables, so leave them at home.

Anyone suspected of drinking or doing drugs will not be permitted to attend the event. The property is monitored. This experience will heal and uplift you and raise your vibrations through the roof, so it's vitally important that you leave negativity and drama at home!

Parking is available on the street in front of the Villa. Enter from the front door at your scheduled time.
