This February, you are invited into a warm and intimate evening with cacao at Fox Apothecary.
Join Christy of Providence Hill Farm for a guided tasting and conversation exploring cacao as a traditional plant medicine, one that has been shared for thousands of years as food, nourishment, and a way of gathering people together.
Whether you are curious about cacao or already familiar with it, this evening offers a chance to slow down, warm up, and share something meaningful in good company. Cacao offers an invitation to create connections or deepen what’s already there. Through story, sensory exploration, and shared experience, you will be introduced to ceremonial-grade cacao in a grounded and approachable way. You will see, smell, and taste raw cacao, learn about its traditional uses, and explore why it has long been associated with the emotional heart, connection, and attentiveness.
During the evening, we will explore:
• How cacao has been traditionally understood as plant medicine
• Its relationship to warmth, bonding, and presence
• How bitterness, sweetness, and heat shape the cacao experience
Cacao will be prepared with love, layered with warming spices, and shared in the relaxed and welcoming setting of Fox Apothecary.
