Join us for Beginner Fencing Classes this Fall in Glenwood Springs!
This group beginner course is open to ages 7-14 (approximately grades 2-8). No experience is necessary and all equipment is provided.
New fencers will discover the basics of footwork, bladework, tactics, and fencing rules. This course serves as a stepping stone into our welcoming and nationally successful program supported by a diverse community and expert coaching.
Explore this safe, challenging, and fun Olympic sport and awaken your inner Jedi, pirate, or international athlete. Fencing also offers unrivaled scholarship opportunities at top universities such as Harvard, Stanford, Northwestern, and the Air Force Academy among many others. Sharpen analytical and problem solving skills while also building physical strength, endurance, agility, and coordination!

Interested but outside the age range or the class times donβt work? We also offer beginner individual fencing lesson packages available for all ages 5+ that can be arranged at mutually convenient times and locations, including daytime hours. These lesson packages will prepare you to join our program and participate in our all-ages, all-skill-levels community of inclusive, welcoming, and mentoring-minded fencers.
