Alon Goldstein
Praised by the New York Times as an “irresistible powerhouse performance,” Alon Goldstein is one of the most original and sensitive pianists of his generation. His musical intelligence, dynamic personality, and innovative programming have earned him admiration worldwide. He has performed with major orchestras including the Philadelphia, Chicago Symphony, and Israel Philharmonic, and under the baton of esteemed conductors such as Zubin Mehta and Leon Fleisher.
A passionate advocate for music education, Goldstein has taught at prestigious institutions including the Steans Institute of the Ravinia Festival and Music@Menlo. He also serves as the Artistic Director of the Lieven Piano Foundation and the Mt. Angel Abbey Bach Festival. Goldstein received his undergraduate degree from Tel Aviv University and continued his studies at the Peabody Conservatory of Music with Leon Fleisher.
Alexander Tutunov
Widely recognized as one of the most outstanding virtuosos of the former Soviet Union, Alexander Tutunov is a First Prize winner of the Belarusian National Piano Competition and the Russian National Piano Competition. His playing has been described as “exhilarating and inspired.” Dr. Tutunov maintains a busy performing schedule in Europe, China, Mexico, and the United States, performing as a recitalist and soloist with various orchestras.
A highly sought-after adjudicator for piano competitions, Alexander Tutunov now lives in Ashland, where he is Professor of Piano and Artist in Residence at Southern Oregon University.
