Speed-Friending is the fun and social, platonic activity - based on the speed dating concept. It’s designed to spark creative conversations and to lower the threshold for talking with strangers. Good conversations and possible friendships are just a simple question away.
Suggested questions will be provided, or march to your own drummer.
You'll be seated (or standing, if that's your thing) across from another person, with 5 minutes to ask/answer questions - opening doors to more conversations, coffee dates, lunches, whatever. Time's up, switch to the next attendee.
Really, who doesn't need the chance to make a new friend, find a shared connection or just do what The Spinster wants to do: pretty much meet everybody in the world... with some obvious exceptions. :D
Join us for an hour or so, depending on the number of attendees. No pressure. No commitment. No idea what to expect.
