“Bridging Divides” Learning to Depolarize Our Relationships Video & Discussion facilitated by Marla Estes, MA.
THIRD WEDNESDAYS Monthly at 7pm: Oct 15, Nov 19, Dec 17, Jan 21, Feb 18
Wed. Oct 15, 7pm: “12 Angry Men”
In this classic film from 1957, we explore many elements of human nature that can cloud our judgment and stop us from being able to see things as they are. Biases, prejudices, personal experiences, and assumptions surface as the jurors deliberate, shaping how each man interprets the evidence. The story reveals how difficult it can be to separate fact from opinion—and how essential it is to confront our own blind spots if we want to see things more clearly.
