Clay County Amateur Radio Emergency Services (ARES) – Meet-Up & Radio Room Reveal!
It’s been a while since our last gathering, and we’re excited to get things going again!
We’re inviting all local hams and anyone in Clay County who is curious about amateur radio (even if you don’t have your license yet!) to join us for a special meeting.
At this meet-up we will:
Talk about re-establishing the Clay County ARES club and what that could look like
Discuss club goals, training, nets, and emergency communications in our area
Show off our new radio room and demonstrate some of the equipment
Share how you can get your ham license if you’re just getting started
Whether you’re an experienced operator, have been inactive for a while, or are simply radio-curious, you’re welcome here.
