It's time for another A Street Block Party! Mark your calendar on Sunday, October 5, between 4PM and 7PM. Bring your costumed pets, your appetite, and your dancing shoes.
Ashland's Railroad District is about to come ALIVE with the “Hot Dogs & Cold Hops” A Street Block Party hosted by Wellness Pet Supplies.
It's a free, family-friendly event filled with music, food, drink, local art, and plenty of pet-friendly fun — all while supporting beloved local nonprofits.
The soundtrack of the block party will be provided by Eight Dollar Mountain. Food and drink will be flowing, with Brickroom Beer Garden, and a lineup of food trucks including West Coast Hot Dogs, Eat Pistola’s sausages, Fizz Fix Dirty Soda, plus Travelers Ice Cream and pretzels by Southern Oregon Sourdough. ‘A’ Street favorites such as Tlalli, Tacos Libertad, Masala and La Baguette Music Cafe will round out the menu with even more dining options.
For pet lovers, the celebration offers unique opportunities to support local animal organizations. Wellness Pet Supplies retail store will host a raffle, with all proceeds benefiting Rogue Valley Street Dogs, Friends of the Animals, and Southern Oregon Humane. Additionally, they will donate 20% of all that afternoon store proceeds to these 3 nonprofits.
FOTAS will host a pop-up pet adoption, with the Ashland Food Coop generously sponsoring adoption fees!
Bring your own four-legged companions—especially if they’re dressed in Halloween costumes—for added fun and community spirit.
Beyond the food and pet activities, the block party will also showcase local artistry and creativity. Get ready to browse arts and crafts vendors, local pet supplies vendors, admire paintings by Jessica Lee Findleton on display at KS Wild, get your kid's face painted, and stop by the prideful pet costume-making station. A Street-based businesses including Resistance Wine Co., La Baguette, Grange Co-op, Ashland Recycled Furniture, Hills Station, and other will also join the festivities, adding to the neighborhood feel of the event.
