Join us for the 1st contra dance of our 25-26 season at the Ashland American Legion Post!
Our favorite band from St. Louis, the Mound City Slickers will be providing the tunes and local favorite, Jim Thaxter will be calling the dances.
Never tried contra dancing before? We welcome beginners! Come at 7pm for a contra dance lesson or refresher and be ready to join in when dancing officially starts at 7:30.
Our Ashland venue has a great dance floor, and the live music and calling shouldn't be missed. So we hope to see you there!
After the dance, feel free to join us for a social gathering at the hall. Bring a snack to share and your favorite beverage.

Then just flash your receipt when you come in the door. Alternatively, there will be a QR code at the admissions table that you can scan to go the the payment link once you arrive. A small additional fee is added to the electronic price to cover the fees we are charged for accepting electronic payments. Cash and Checks at the usual price will still be accepted at the door.
