6 Week Intro to Clay

Instructor: Carmen Proffitt of Carmen’s Ceramica

Beginner to Intermediate level.

Our instructor Carmen Proffitt will teach you clay basics starting with wheel throwing and hand-building techniques all the way through to glazing. This comprehensive course takes place over six weeks, plenty of time to familiarize yourself with the world of clay. Let yourself be challenged to try something new in this discovery process.

Cost of recycled clay, use of tools and glazes are included with the class fee. Other types of clay are also available for purchase at the Supply Side.

Firings are included up to 300 cubic inches. Larger or additional pieces will cost .08 per cubic inch.

We will not be able to offer make-up classes. Please note, this class is for adults ages 17 and up.
