Tashlich Service

As part of our Rosh Hashanah celebration, we invite you to join us for the beautiful and symbolic tradition of Tashlich.

The word Tashlich comes from the Hebrew root meaning “to cast” — reflecting the intent of this ancient custom: casting away our sins into the depths of the waters. As the prophet Micah declares: “You will cast all our sins into the depths of the sea” (Micah 7:19).

During Tashlich, we read scripture together by the water, shake out the corners of our garments, and symbolically throw crumbs of bread or crackers into a flowing body of water. It is a vivid reminder of God’s mercy and His promise to forgive and cleanse.

Please bring bread or crackers for this meaningful act of worship and renewal.

Come prepared to reflect, release, and rejoice in the forgiveness our God provides.
