Essential Knife Skills

Whether you are a novice cook wanting to gain confidence in the kitchen or you want to hone your knife skills and expand your knowledge this course is suitable for all abilities, with a combination of in-depth demonstrations and hands-on tasks learning filleting, butchery along with slicing and dicing and using the right knives for the right jobs in the kitchen.

Start your day with a warm welcome from one of our hosts, followed by an introduction from our tutor. Throughout the day there will be regular demonstrations as our tutor walks you through step by step the skills and techniques of correct knife skills which will enhance your cooking at home. You will also be working hands-on after each demonstration getting to grips with your knives and newly learnt techniques. There will be plenty of time for questions, the day is relaxed and informal to ensure you gain as much confidence as possible in this day course to then go home and practise with.

Not suitable for Vegetarians or Vegans. Lunch is included.
