Scuttlebutt! August 29

Scuttlebutt is back and wrapping up the summer with a super fun show! If you're just tuning in, Scuttlebutt is a quarterly improv comedy show at The LaZoom Room which prides itself on dishing out the hot goss and shakin' up that grapevine. This month's super talented and dynamic cast of Scuttlebutt players — Zack Hamrick, Stevie Ramirez, Sevynn Shaughnessy, Matt D. Wilson, Marlene, Thompson and Micky Poandl — take inspiration from our special guest storytellers along with audience suggestions to create hilarious scenes all based on that thing you should keep between us, wink-wink, nudge-nudge ;)

This month's guest storyteller is local poet and performer, Mandy Gardner! She's a writer and Moth StorySLAM winning storyteller who has been featured on the Moth Podcast and competed in two GrandSLAM events. She also happens to be the Associate Director of Marketing for the impact investment firm, Veris. She does all that from West Asheville with her wife Bailey.

The wondrously talented Steve Sensenig will be keeping things musical and our own Nora Tramm will be your host. Don't miss it!
