General Meeting with Special Guest Presentation by Scott Burroughs - UNCA Woods Visioning Report

Make sure to attend our next Save the Woods General Meeting to learn more about alternative proposals for UNCA’s Millennial Campus properties! We’ll have a special guest presentation by local architect Scott Burroughs of @thislandstudio at our meeting on October 9, 2025 at 6:30 PM.

Scott will be presenting the results of the UNCA Woods Community Visioning design charette, including alternative locations for the soccer stadium and more.

We’ll take a short break after Scott’s presentation, and then we’ll convene our regular business and provide updates, a community forum, next steps, and information on ways you can help. We plan to have Save the Woods t-shirts and yard signs available for purchase.

Note: This meeting will be held *downstairs* in the atrium of Grace Covenant Presbyterian Church at 789 Merrimon Ave. You can access the room from the church parking lot and head downstairs, or use the ground-level entrance accessible from the McDonald's parking lot.
