About DJ Kristikka: Kris discovered 5Rhythms in Los Angeles in the 90s but it wasn’t until she landed in Austin that this practice took hold of her in a big way. Now, after decades of dancing, she’s stepping into facilitating this sacred practice by training with the ecstatic dance OG O’skar Madera and mentoring with DJ Esme. Intention: The Best Medicine
When we step into this sacred dance container, movement becomes medicine for the soul. We all create this safe and nurturing space in order to feel all of who we are. Bring your joy, your tenderness, your wildness, your truth. Through the rhythms, movement and permission to surrender, dance becomes a powerful healer where we can shake out stress, open our hearts, awaken creativity, and deeply connect with our divine essence.
Together we journey meeting what arises, shedding what’s ready to fall away, and discovering new strength and clarity on the other side. This dance is a ritual of renewal, a huge dose of self love, and a reminder that your body knows the way.
