Hand-Built Ceramic “Origami” Cranes

Transform ordinary clay into elegant ceramic cranes inspired by the ancient art of origami! This intermediate-level workshop focuses on advanced hand-building techniques as you shape and sculpt clay into beautiful birds that capture the delicate appearance of folded paper in lasting ceramic form. All materials provided, including clay, tools, and glazing options. After the workshop, we will glaze your creation for you, or you can return to glaze it yourself for a truly personalized finish. This workshop is designed for experienced potters, who are ready to tackle more intricate projects.

Fun fact: In Japanese tradition, the crane symbolizes good fortune and longevity, making your creation both beautiful and meaningful!
