🌱 Welcome to Old School Farm: Spring Planting 101
There’s something powerful about growing your own food.
But for a lot of people, the hardest part is simply knowing where to begin.
At Old School Farm: Spring Planting 101, we’re going back to the basics — the right way. This is a hands on, family friendly workshop designed to teach you the foundational skills you need to start your own spring garden with confidence.
On Saturday, March 7th from 10–12, we’ll be getting our hands in the dirt together. You’ll learn:
• How to properly prepare and build healthy soil
• How to lay out clean, productive rows
• What crops thrive in early spring
• Proper planting techniques
• The full process from soil to table
During the workshop, we’ll be planting potatoes, radish, beets, butter lettuce, and sugar peas — practical, reliable crops that are perfect for the spring season.
This is not a lecture. It’s real learning, in real soil, with real results.
Whether you’re brand new to gardening or just want to sharpen your skills, you’ll leave knowing exactly how to plant and grow your own food this season.
Cost:
$10 per adult
$5 per child
Spots are limited to keep the experience personal and hands on.
We’re excited to grow with you The Old School way.
