Free Hands-Only CPR Training from Arvada Fire

More than 350,000 cardiac arrests occur outside of the hospital each year. Unfortunately, only about 40% of people who experience an out of hospital cardiac arrest (OHCA) get the immediate help that they need before professional help arrives. Many people report feeling afraid to intervene during a cardiac emergency because they don't know how or they are afraid to hurt the victim.

This is why learning CPR is such a vital, life-saving skill for every member of the community! If performed immediately, CPR can double or triple the chance of survival from an out of hospital cardiac arrest.

Join Arvada Fire on Wednesday, Jan. 28 from 6:00-7:00 PM at the Training Center to learn hands-only CPR. This free interactive training will empower you with the confidence and skills to respond effectively. Our EMS leaders and paramedics will teach you the simple steps to performing hands-only CPR while you get hands-on experience and feedback on a manikin. All members of the community are invited to register and attend.
